I have a eurovox max (2006) and it is stuck in stand by. It does not have any little dashes that others report.
I have the cable, the Dnupman and the firmware (or I think its the right firmware) and I have attached the box to the pc. Ran the Dnupman and loaded the software. Nothing happens. Just says that 'waiting for the response of your receiver'

Any ideas?
BTW its not all rigged up to the TV as the pc is in another room.....is this the problem?

take the cover off the box m8 and check all the ribbon cables are connected proper,press the little grey button inside the box with the power connected then try reflashing with the blue box firmware this might solve your probs,not actually sure what the little button does but pressing it seems to solve all sorts of probs out

My computer dose not find my box either but some how i got around this and just guessed the port

do i need to do something with the com ports on the pc?
the dpuman (or whatever) chooses port 2. I have tried the other 3 but to no avail.

To be honest with you Al its been a long time just to make sure you have plugged your eurovox into your pc via the null cable ?

Ok you have plugged your eurovox into the mains with the null cable still connected

From what i remember then the dnum trys to search for the eurovox and cannot find it

Im sure i then go to browse and connect it manual in that

pm your email and il send you what i have

If i cant help you better of asking Ronster (hes posted above) hes a good lad and will help you step by step (just start a thread with RONSTER PLEASE HELP) << im sure he will help as much as he can.
