Default Advice on getting a starview

hi guys I was just after some advice I have been offered an expired starview 7 and was wondering if it's worth it? Are they still working and how much to switch back on? They only want 30 quid for it, I have a kryptview my self and was thinking about a second box In the bedroom

Thanks guys
