Hey got £500, need a new tv what do i go for plasma , led , lcd? Im after a 42" or above and good picture quality and also good for gaming.
Ive done a lot of reading on the web about this but there are too many conflicting reviews. Prefure real advice from real people. Any help i would be gratful for . Thanks |

Panasonic is a very solid HDTV brand - hard to go wrong there.

I agree with Panasonic, besides they're basically the kings of plasma, so you're bound to be happy with whatever model you choose. Once you've more or less narrowed your choice, however, make sure to look for info about the particular model you've settled on, if only to avoid nasty surprises. This site has a good number of reviews from different magazines and websites in a single place, which I guess will make it less of a hassle than scouring the interwebs: http://www.otest.co.uk/tv-video-dvd/...levisions.html

just to let you guys no. i went for the panasonic viera in lcd tho. got 42" from currys £449... very very pleased with it. thanks a lot for your advice.

I brought a plasma tv 50" last year and was the worse TV I have ever had, it was like sitting in front of a mirror whenever the screen picture was dark I could see everything in my room. I have now got an LED LEC TV and the best screen I could ask for, also plays DIVX movies from my usb stick.
