Default Trouble with my Haxorware Modem

Hey guys I have Haxorware 1.1 on an AMBIT 250.

Iv'e put it all the settings as pre guided.

The MAC im using is from underneath a friends modem about 3 miles away.
But no luck the router does not show "ready" light.
should I just keep looking for MAC's.
Im going to take down another from about 15 miles away will this be better ?
do they have to be the same modem as mine ?

Cheers guys,
-lucas

I'd say keep looking for MAC addresses mate. They are getting harder to come by these days and VM aren't making things any easier either lol.

Yeah iv'e heard sniffers don't even work to well either.
I was wondering if I get a mac address from 15 miles away that is active should this 100% work ?

I dont want to be searching for MAC's when it could be a problem with the router lol

Cheers for response

I wouldn't say 100% active but it's worth a shot. As long as it's outside your UBR, you should be good.

id use macs that begin with either :-
00:40 , 00:20,, 00:08,, or 00:04 ,,
i would make sure you spoof the nic of your router each time you change a mac
and i would change the serial number on your modem each time that way it has more chance of staying online for longer than an hour
hope this helps

Ive got a subbed Mac address from 15 miles away which should work.
I can't get any internet access though Im getting "TFTP something could not get config file"

Im using haxorware 1.1 REV39 on an Ambit 250 modem can someone send me some settings, I think I HAVE to spoof the NIC address to get internet access ?

Cheers for replys.
