you will need to a get HDMI switch / Splitter in order to connect both of them (SKY & PS 3) Otherwise you will have to have it connected via SCART but that would eradicate the HD side of things. If your home cinema system does not have the Optical out / In then the closest your looking at is a Digital Coax, now if you have that then you can get a converter which would do the same thing. if you don't have any of them then your best bet is to connect it via RCA as you have no other option mate. Alternatively you could always sell the current home cinema system and look for a better one with more connectivity. if you are planning to do that then have a look at the ONKYO systems. |

In order for you to be able to use a digital coax connection you need to make sure that @ the other end there is the same type of connection or else it wont work. However what you would need to then buy a converter. Which cost around a tenner from amazon if memory serves me right because a certain individual posted the link on the same thread. Remember you cant use a Digital Coax with SPDIF / Optical which is why you need the converter. Just to give you an idea of what the connector looks like http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=Dig...w=1470&bih=931 The Red, White and yellow are the RCA connectors and this not the same as RCA connectors even though it looks the same. if you look at the diagram of that Link / Pic displayed the connector is colored Black and its next to the Optical.
