Cool need some think cheaper than a dream box

hey,

The dream box is very good but i need all the kit so it is well over my budget just for the box.

i need one that will take what dream box does i.e Smargo

i have a full hd 1080i tv, will want to record via usb or built in recorder.
need to have 4000 thousand plus memory, 7 day tv guide

price between £50 to £120 many thanks

You wont find cheap Linux box for 50-120 mate
there few crappy cheapo hd boxes on market for 70 to 80 pounds i think

exactly right!

No point getting the Open boxes as they are no Good when it comes to Multi sat in my opinion as I have used them before.

You can get a Dream-box 800HD for 140 quid!

prob be best of getting a dreambox then lol, like your say then others are just cheap prob wont last 6 months.

what features does the Dream-box 800HD have. been told you can only record what you watch,

no box will let you record 2 channels at a time or even let you record one channnel while you watch another one.

it not a twin tuner box!

10K channel memory which is more then enough for a multi sat setup

PVR enabled!

Allows streaming to laptops.

And many many more features.

Supports 3D as well. Then again any HD box supports it. Even the cheapo one support that capability.

Just read the specs and all will be explained!

when my dish is set up, dreambox pluged in, card+reader in pc with driver on. plugged into dreambox, with internet, click blue so on. will that be all sorted

Is all 3D done through HDMI then? ie all HD boxes support it?

Planning getting my first satellite after kryptview for 18 months and wondering what to go for.

Yes all hd boxes support 3d.

3d is done via HDMI. however HDMI sole purpose was for HD and Surround sound.

However u still need a TV which support 3d.

DM800S PRO HD PVR
its a very good quality receiver and you ca get it for a good price aswell...
