Are you lookin to just turn it off because you dont use it or you want to use your own router?

If you want to use your own router, i don't think the R26 firmware supports it yet, it's supposed to be fixed in the R29 version coming out soon.

to turn it off:
-log into your hub
-click advanced under the 3 pictures
-scroll down to wireless setup under Advanced section
-untick wireless
-click apply

its running the r26 firmware... i have managed to get my router working with it but everytime i power off the superhub and switch it back on it always reverts back to running off the superhub settings and i have to re config it all again with my own router

Apparently the R30 release will allow Modem only operation. You can use it with a switch to connect more Network devices but do need to setup the DHCP server in the hub.

Yes you are correct,
Im on the R30 beta trial @ the mo,
its good cause you can spoof your nics mac and get a new ip address in modem only mode.
Have not tried connecting my router up to it yet but will soon.

thanks for the replies..... also how did you manage to get the r30 firmware from for the super hub, as the so called superhub (netgear vmdg 480) is totally useless as a router

Had to sign up to be a tester on vm's support forum,
The option to sign up was only there for a few days.
If there is any update or request for more testers I will post info here.
edit: (vm sends testers the update directly to superhub, you are just asked to leave it switched on)

i've done the same as above. checked my superhub this morning and its on r30

right down at the bottom there is "modem mode"

i'll go looking for the dreytek later and get that back in service.

the wireless n might be missed but since i'll have all the qos and nat functions back, i bet i'll be able to live with loosing n.
