so thats the situation im wanting to go trough vga but as i cant see the screen on the laptop i dont know what to do. any help will be greatly recived.

When you say the screen is broken can you be more specific please... because whats not to say that the screen is fine and the issue is not your GFX CARD. Secondly if the screen is showing as blank / black then use a bright torch and shine it agains it and see if you notice any pic in the back if you can then its most likely your Inverter has gone and you need to replace it.
