how do i obtain box key from Ntl / pace 1000 / 200 / d14000n

hi jimbo thanks for your reply, my box is a di4000n i do have a rom 10 card which is paired but when i try to read it with nagra edit it says no atr string so i think it is locked, i have read you can unlock it with software like mrom, busted, caton, and winphoenix, can i do this with a usb infinty unlimited programmer im not sure if this programmer supports the rom 10 card. cheerz.

no atr string? are you sure you have ur progger in phoenix mode?

yes im using a infinty usb unlimited programmer in vcp mode and this is what nagra edit says when i try to read the rom 10.

Opening COM1.
Reset failed
Error reseting card, ATR string invalid
Closing COM1.

any ideas. cheerz

and yes in phoenix mode with frequence set at 3.680mhz my infinity usb unlimited software is in version 2.70 may this be the problem. cheerz

if you got box with card in it, it may have got hit with the big hit, if so you will need to jtag for numbers

yes mine got cut off with alot of over peoples in november 2006, so what jtag do i need and where can i get one from, and do you know anything about the libdebug software which allows you to connect to the box from your computer, thanx for your reply.

You can get jtags from lincsats nick nack shop, use ocd commander, bke v2, or sammy debug tool works on pace too, all files are in downloads. most boxes have had update that stops libdebug working nowadays.

hi reddiesel thanks for your reply, i have been doing alot of research on this i know the software ocd commander, whats bke v2 is it the version of software or is it like sammy debug tool, which jtag do i need for my di4000n box will the universal unbuffered jtag work, i have only done a few posts so where are downloads is it in gmail, and 1 last thing i have reset my box as when i was in engineers menu the card status was blank and now it says mute err do you know anything about this.

Bke is box key extractor, its a different tool works well on pace boxes, you can use universal solder on jtag or pogo version that you just hold down on points, you can get pace and sammy pogo connectors.
mute err is probably a card fault, your card isnt programmed right at the moment.
card in wrong upside down etc.
card written wrong, wrong files tw instead of ntl etc
no atr string on card .
card erased.
faulty card reader, (not hard to replace, about £2 with postage )

hi reddiesel, i am going to solder the universal jtag wires to the jtag points on the pace box with .022 dia 1.5 oz silver bearing solder from radio shack and then once connected the parallel port of the jtag to the pc printing port i am going to use software ocd commander and the sammy debug tool i will not need bke, am i on the right tracks here, and when i try to read the ntl rom 10 card with nagra edit it says no atr string then closes com port, is there a way i can open up the card. cheerz
