card is fried, j-tag is not for reading card its to get the ird and boxkey numbers from the box, think you really need to read up on it some more, your starting to get mixed up.

hi reddiesel, i am going to solder the universal jtag wires to the jtag points on the pace box with .022 dia 1.5 oz silver bearing solder from radio shack and then once connected the parallel port of the jtag to the pc printing port i am going to use software ocd commander and the sammy debug tool i will not need bke, am i on the right tracks here, and when i try to read the ntl rom 10 card with nagra edit it says no atr string then closes com port, is there a way i can open up the card. cheerz

hi, sorry for the double post dont know why it done that, jimbo i am not getting mixed up i have read everything i need to know now i was just saying that my box card status in engineers menu says mute err when i put in my ntl rom 10, i know i still have to get the bk by jtagging the box cheerz jimbo.

would say mute err card is fried, all you need is ocd with j-tag for numbers.

dont agree with this at all, first off if ur paying subs (rented box) could be big trouble for you, if the box has belonged to someone else they will be billed, and they wont pay so box will be black-listed.

hi jimbo, this is not a subbed box and does not belong to anyone else, i bought the box with the card chipped from some bloke 2 years ago and i was able to watch ppv for over a year with no problems.

You can fit a 50db reverse path noise blocking filter instead of cutting talk back and remove if you want to use on demand, it just plugs in cable.

hi all, does this 50db reverse path noise blocking filter go in the back of the cable box to stop the box communicating with virgin media/ntl and then you can take it out for the box to communicate so you can watch ppv then afterwards plug it back in again. thanks in advance
