hi, could someone please reply as i am nearly there, i bought a jtag off lincsat ready to get my bk and programme my funcard 4 but i have not cut talkback as i want on demand to access pay per view, reddiesel said you can get a 50db reverse path noise blocking filter instead of cutting talk back and remove if you want to use on demand which just plugs in to cable. i appreciate all the help i have got off this forum so far especially reddiesel and jimbo thanks.

You can get them on fleabay, about £10 with postage, just plugs into cable behind box, looks similar to a splitter.

hi reddiesel thanks for your reply, i am connecting the jtag to my pace box the to my pc printer port, the jtag walkthrough says: pace box jtags

pin 1 or 2 = vcc (yellow)
pin 4,6,8 = gnd (white)
pin 3 = tdi (red)
pin 5 = tms (green)
pin 7 = tck (blue)
pin 9 = tdo (black)

but the jtag i bought off lincsat says: jtag points

tmsb - yellow
tck - white
tdi - red
tdo - green
trst - blue
gnd - black

which ones go where please could you help many thanks.

I'm pretty sure the un-buffered JTAG is based on the 7 wire design. Most of the connections are pretty obvious.

The TRST - blue wire is likely spare, I'm pretty sure there doesn't need to be a Vcc connection. But then I'm not a JTAG expert

hi all, i have been trying to connect my jtag to my pace box di4000 for the past 3 days with no luck at all, i have been following the jtag walkthrough tutorial but every time i try to connect to it by ocd commander it says internal error then get version: not yet initialized and a big ocd commander box popping up saying: (error response from INITIALIZE: 0x03 initialized_target : cable disconnected (10 : 03) i have a unbuffered jtag with wires for soldering which i bought off lincsat, the jtag points for the pace box di4000n are:

pin 1 or 2 = vcc (yellow)
pin 4,6,8 = gnd (white)
pin 3 = tdi (red)
pin 5 = tms (green)
pin 7 = tck (blue)
pin 9 = tdo (black)

and the jtag wires are:

tmsb - yellow
tck - white
tdi - red
tdo - green
trst - blue
gnd - black

i have soldered them this way:

tmsb - yellow - pin 5
tck - white - pin 7
tdi - red - pin 3
tdo - green - pin 9
gnd - black - pin 4
trst - blue - pin 2

when i boot the box up with jtag connected it says error 12 then error 11, i am not using any parallel port extension lead just the jtag connected to the digi box then to the pc printer port by putting the digi box just behind the pc and connecting it, do i really need the parallel port cable extension.
i would really appreciate it if someone could help me out on this cheerz.

You still havnt said what box it is 1000, 4000,etc, to unlock card you need an unlooper unless its already a mosc, but there are other ways to get bk jtag or led sim, once you have boxkey you can programme funcard or mosc etc, for mosc you need a programmer with phoenix mode, infinity or dynamite are the best ones.
