hi, i got my box key!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanx to every one that helped me get there mainly lincsat, reddiesel, and jimbo.
is there a tb switch for pace box di4000n, and having the 50db reverse path blocking filter out of your box to access on demand and watching ppv movies will the company virgin media be able to block your box mac address so it can not be used anymore and your box will be black listed, the infomation below is from the tutorial know your box from bigmaq toolbar. How to ensure talk-back has been cut off.
i appreciate it if someone could help me out, cheerz ![]() |

Yes the filter blocks any feedback down the cable. If you want to fit a switch you just solder two pieces of wire one each side of where you cut the track and connect to single pole switch, which you can buy in maplins etc, any single pole switch will do, and either drill or cut a hole in back of box to fit, be carefull you dont damage the circuit board, or in the lid if you use long enough wires, or just tape switch up with insulating tape inside box making sure it cant short out anywhere.

No thats for occasional use, you take the lid off, there is a switch you can get from fleet computer systems that works from the remote control.

ok lol, i will stick with the single pole switch correct me if i am wrong here, on the di4000n box there is only 1 talkback track so i cut this into 2 and with 1 of the cut ends i solder onto a wire and the wire leads to the swith witch i just connect so there is only 1 wire needed. cheerz
