Hi have read through this post, lots of gr8 info. But... can someone tell me if i have a 4000 box (tw) which already has correct net id and I can get the Ird which i understand is the nagra serial code in the engineers menu, do i use nagra edit or bke to get the boxkey and do i need a jtag for this.

Use Ocd commander, Bke, or Sdt, with a j tag, they are all in downloads, nagra edit is for mosc cards,nagra serial ird needs converting to hex, it should be on top of the scart socket in box in hex.

Gr8 thnx 4 reply will get hold of jtag tomorrow, modshak is the best place i hear, can u tell me is there a jtag that's easy to use 4 a newbie, does it have 2 b soldered?

You can get a pace pogo one that you just hold down on the points, or wedge down, if your not hot at soldering.

if you have the funcard from the box with details thats easy, if someone has gave u a 2000 with no card its a nightmare to do.
