Christov40 - If you read the exteep, best to save it to you have the box details, if you have read the card and not write exteep back onto card then most likely you have deleted the detail.. do you have the ird +bk?

Thanx 4 the reply, welll what i did was to try and save the details of the flash, int and ext off the card but i didnt originally program the box so i dont have the bk and ird and it looks like i must have wiped it cos i just cant get the channels back even tho i am writing thd saved files back to the card. I suppose this means i need to jtag now to get the bk and ird, but do i now have to create a new int and ext file?

If you have got the exteep saved then all you need to do is re-write it to the card and add the latest flash file.. dont need inteep.

If go into the the download section you need a program called Atmega IRD + BK reader or nagra 4.1, open your exteep and it give you the details, best to save them for future reference..

Thanks Tee for the reply. I did try rewriting the ext file to the card along with the latest flash file, but it didnt work, but i will try and extract the box key and ird as you say for future ref. As i have tried rewriting the same file that i copied without success can you tell me what would be best to do once i get the bk and ird out of the ext file?

they has been a key roll about a month ago or so mate, open exteep in nagra 4.1 and get the latest keys from bigmaq toolbar... or create a new exteep using toxic 7 or rhv1, with them you do not need to update keys.. use the funcard tut mate by charlie senator Funcard Tutorial

if u save the flash sometimes it erases the ext, try opening the ext if u get all f`s ur f--c-ed, need to get numbers another way.

Thanks guys, Tee i'll give that a go have already downloaded Nagra and the toolbar. Thought that my orig flash file would still work cos its been going for almost a year now but will try the newest one. Jimbo i'm not sure whether there's all f's cos not at home at the moment but will check later. What other ways to get number do you mean jtag (4000 box) cos i got one on order at the moment, or is there another way??
