how do i obtain box key from Ntl / pace 1000 / 200 / d14000n

i read it the downloads and am really looson it man, model no is Di4010 - n
i think i got the ird code but having trouble findin the bk since yesterday. sorry firt timer.

Cheapest option is a j tag and fun card, and a programmer ,otherwise its buying an unlooper and hoping the card is paired, theres no other way to get box key.

been given a di4000_n apparently was all working until jan/feb ....been told i can keep it but i dunno the first thing ....from what ive seen in here it looks quite complex for an idiot .it has a ntl card in it and a load of numbers written in black marker pen on the back of the box ......dunno where to start so if someone could point me in the right direction i would be very grateful x

similar sketch to above post, but if you have numbers easier, you can re programme mosc ntl card, or use a funcard, if you need to reset net id ie your in different area to where box was you can do it with fun card also, hopefully your in ex cw as thats where box is from, otherwise you may have problems.

You may have problems setting net id and getting it to update to tw platform, they used to be ok to do but with the latest vir£in sw version on some are having problems, try it and see what happens, keep us posted.

I have a programmer and a funcard but not jtag
can u help plz? wich one of these is better (or do i go for).

1= Blackcat JTAG & Surfboard Header
2= Solderless, POGO JTAG for Pace & Sammy

as u caa tell i dunno the difference.

and one last thing do i need any onther thing like RS232 Interface.

how do i get onto the engineers menu on the pace 1000 n*l box ?? i need the IRD off it
