Very new to satelite, so bear with me on this one.....
Just got FTA with a kit bought from ALDI (Philex 28260ALD), installed dish and got everything working except I can't get my local BBC etc, been looking around at different forums and had many suggestions but no luck. If I set my box for the specific frequency for the transponder my signal/quality go to 0%. I can get all other channels BBC HD, ITV4 HD and about every other local BBC but not North WEST. It does have a slot in the box, if I bought a SKY 'Yellow House' card for £20 from Sky would this solve the problem? Tom |

No, the Sky card would not fix the problem, in any case it won't work in your box anyway.
Check that your transponder details are correct for the channel you want, and tweak dish if necessary. Are you getting other low band horizontal transponders OK? http://en.kingofsat.net/find.php?que...bbc&Submit=Zap looks like you need 10803H

Thanks for the reply. In installation mode if I manually set the box to 10803H the signal jumps from 99% & quality from 76% to both as 0%. So I guess I will have to re-align dish??
