I think i may have bricked my box Macabre, Is it just a case of finding another firmware update and try to flash again or is this pointless as the box is now broken and cannot be sorted meaning i now have an expensive paperweight

you cant brick your box while flashing it, are you sure you put the correct firmware on it from the start, as the 750 model uses the same date firmware, and is easy to mix up, i would dump the firmware you have on your pc now, and download the 780 firmware making sure it is the 780 and reflash the box.

I will give this a try and let you all know how i get on.Its still in TV repair shop to see if i have a problem with scart connections but when i get it back i will post my outcome

I have received my box back from repair shop with no repairs needed on it, i downloaded the latest firmware and flashed again and hey presto it works. Thanks all for you help
