Hey guys,
Does anyone know if these boxes still work to get free channels ?
If I get Virgin Media internet and phone, can I get their TV free with this box ? How many channels will I be getting ?

Cheers,
Lucas

yes they do still work, unfortunately they are extremely unreliable with channels coming and going and plenty of glitching thrown in too.

I hate this "free tv" argument. Its not free becuase hes paying £150 for it. Ok, its alot cheaper than a full sub. But not free. And That money can be spent on a better alternative.

1 .You could buy a cheap Sv for about 60quid, and then pay £25 for 6 months. Which would give you more channels than the KV (as the kv is really bad atm). I hear all channels work well on sv besides, MUTV.

2. Or alternatively, and the better choice if available. Would be to go sat, £50 for the box, and find a local server.

Yeah fair enough. But in the long term, this is the way to go.

Add £20-25 quid for a dish, and half a days work for putting it up and aligning it. If you dont already have one.

Yeah, but if KV or SV suddenly disappear . Then your left with nothing...

If your sat server goes, you just move to another. Plus you can pay a sat sub monthly or every 3 months. So you would lose less.

A stop to all cardsharing could be made, so they all have risks. But between what their is available (Kv/SV or sat), then sat wins every time, becuase your not limited to one server.
