Default is my KV dead?

Hi all, i am moving house really soon and i dont have much money so i am borrowing a KV A780 and ive got the April firmware on and ive also tried the un-patched i think its called and im only recieving channel 1,2,3 and 4 ive been through the main channels sports, movies music etc and im getting error message scrambled channel and no or bad signal. i heard KV doesn't work no more is this true?

with ethernet cable? yeswhen i scan for channels do i change 1 of the settings from network to scrambled, network or all

He means does the cable which goes into the back of the box still turned on by vm. Read the sticky in the kv section, you will need the correct netID for your area, you can get this by the sticky or by plugging a vm box back on.

my net id is Redcar (teeside) id -00010, yes its live

press menu installation 0000 then follow instructions in sticky how to update

already tried jimbo and the end result i still have only 4 working channels

when u are in installation mode have u pressed software update?
