Hi, I have a really nice SB5101 with Haxor rev 39 and I"ve never had any problems... Last week, I changed the address and I can no longer access the control panel.
With the coaxial cable, and the ethernet connected all lights are steady but the online one, and I can't access the haxorware gui. without the coax, and just ethernet, power light is on, receive light blinks an can't access haxorware GUI. set an static IP, and still I cant access the gui.. As I said that has never happened before. Can I get it back without having to reflash? what do I have to do? Did the haxorware access address got changed? thanks for your help and your time |

Can you still telnet into the modem? You haven't changed the IP address of the modem at any time have you? What IP settings did you use as static? Try:

Hi Blakey, and thanks for your time. Those are the settings that I have tried, and still no access. what I changed was the mac as always... As I said that has never happened before. can you tell me the procedure to try telnet, I do have to admit that telnet is one of the few things I have not tried, because I dont know much. Do you mean using teraterm? or putty? thanks, and please help me get it back

This thread contains lots of different Telnet commands. I can't fully remember how to access the modem via Telnet but you can use HyperTerminal in Windows or you can use software like Putty.

hey, I've tried telnet and the answer is: that the server 192. etc is taking too long to respond. take a look at these 2 pics. 1. is when connected to Ethernet, no coax. the other one using USB.
I just let it automatic to see what addresses would appear.. any thoughts? |

It seems to me that the modem's IP address has been changed. Have you got a Blackcat lead you can use to re-flash the modem?

Your Blackcat USB should work just fine, as long as it has the pin header connection onboard that is.
