Hi all can anyone tell me what channels will a viaccess cam open with the correct software installed on a technomate 5400 ci

None, a dedicated cam is designed to work with a subscription card, not to open any channels.
You can get multi cams, like the Diablo, dragon, etc, but these open very little nowadays.
