hi i have a problem playing 1080p movies. i download film and the copy to my ps3 hard drive but when playing they r stuttering my ps3 is connected by an hdmi cable

Stuttering? You mean skipping whilst a video is playing? What happens if you try and stream them from your computer?

same but worse ant got no idea why every thing els plays just not hd for some reason but if i put a blue-ray disk in its fine

Whats the file name?

you might need to convert it to vob..

If its MKV then convert it to vob with a tool from google "mkv 2 vob"

sometimes MKV's i have skipped when i converted them all plays fine
