novice here sadley,just got an a 780,my mate flashed the box at his and it works fine. installed at mine and channels are showing on epg but there is no picture coming through on epg guide s = 56/76/88 but q = o. any ideas whats going wrong please guyshttp://www.techwatch.co.uk/forums/images/smilies/cool/sad.gif

HAve you connected it to the net ?
Are you getting fta channels (bbc 1, etc) ?

yeh connected via the router,and not getting fta either

You dont have an live connection then. Are you a virmin subscriber ?

edit- actually just read the first post again, if your getting the epg and signal then you have a live line.
Im not too sure why then. You should atleast have fta. :S

have you scaned you box again? do a factory defalut and rescan in your address..

Have box connected to your router and then do a "NETWORK" scan.

all should work then if you have a live feed.

0% Quality means no signal that is why you are not getting a picture.

so signal strength is ok but signal quality is zero !! any ideas how to resolve this issue guys ??

Simple get a sub from your provider basic package is all you need, without it you will be watching a blank Tv.

Clio, why are you saying he needs to do this??? I dont have and sub, internet or anything off v/m and mine is ok, surely if that was the problem he wouldnt even get EPG???

I could be wrong though.....
