hi guys ive uploaded my box with pli jade.img to my dm500c is this the rong image as i search for the channels and its coming up with 'all transponders has been tried but no lock was possible verify antenna/cable setup or try another satellite/network. maybe i have uploaded the wrong image as my box is cable not satellite......any suggestion on the right image will be thankfull

I'm not sure that PLI do a Cable image. If they do then when you searched you should have got an option to choose your area. IE Options are Brute Force, 6952 etc.

What do you expect from this box once flashed? You will only get FTA.

Ive re-flashed my image with another that was suitable cudnt gt brute force though gt my local ntl settings i only get FTA like your saying i was wondering if i connect to a server wil it be possible to get my channels and how do i go about doing this..is this the onli way u can gt ur channels back......all comments will be appreciated

another problem i have another dm500 box from years back which has 4 digit password on it ive completely forgot it and would like to no if there is a way to remove it or is there a defualt code that by passes it..........all comment wil be very thnkfull

Reflash the one with the password issue and you won't get your channels back unless u find a server and that is something u need to find we can't help

Alternatively buy a sv or kv as they are pre configured for you.

pli jade works fine as a cable image aswell as sat
just need the correct cables.xml in /var/etc
then a brute force scan
