Exclamation cascaded router setup

Hi All, Hope someone can help.

Got a new Netgear modem router from Virgin and now my cascaded router setup no longer is able to connect to PPTP VPN.

Before the replacment router, i just had a standard modem, which i connected to a Router 1 WAN port, and LAN port of router 1 to the WAN port of router 2. I was able to establish a PPTP VPN on router 2.

Please can someone help, i'm really stuck. Thanks

Is it a Virgin superhub you have? You should find a "Modem Mode" setting in the superhubs advanced settings, if you enable this it disables the superhubs wireless & router functions, it will then operate just as your old virgin modem did, allowing you to use your own router as before..

Not sure if this would work but, could you maybe try putting your DD-WRT router in the DMZ on the virgin hub?
