I have a daschound/ spaniel cross, that is now 18months old and has stopped chewing shoes after it became about a year old. Ruined 2 pair of wifes boots, a sky remote, countless pens etc. Not too bad now. Would eat mail posted through letterbox, so she is not left alone in the hall.
