Question Asus M2N68AM-PLUS wont turn on

Last night i was on my pc its a Asus M2N68AM-Plus motherboard and it was working completely fine and the next minute i looked at it the screen had completely gone black. The computer was still turned on but the monitor had an orange light displaying as if it goes to standby. I moved the mouse incase the computer went to standby but nothing happened. I turned the PC of and back on but nothing shows up on screen its just black and the monitor just shows an orange light the light that comes on when you turn your computer off and the monitor goes into standby. I dont know what the problem is. I have tried putting a graphics card in as i thought the on board graphics might have failed. But no luck it was still the same. I have tried putting some new ram in it incase the old ram became faulty. But still the problem is there.
The thing is the computer turns on i can hear is the keyboard lights up as if its gonna turn on but doesnt show up anything on screen.
Can anyone help please!!!

Have you tried using a different monitor?

When you switch it on do you hear any beeps?

if the machine is failing to post then you have a hardware issue and this could be CPU related in my opinion, however troubleshooting this symptoms can be a nightmare if you don't have spare parts.
