Default I remember when, please add.

I remember when my dad won a tv in a football club raffle.
You had a "dial" on the tv to select channels . On the dial had numbers 1 to 9. 1 Was bbc1 and 9 was itv, when it arrived on the scene. There were no other channels in between 1 and 9 So changing from bbc1 to itv went , click, click, click, etc etc. If i changed the channel too quickly my dad would have shouted "easy on". On that first tv i remember my hero was The lone ranger. I had plenty of mates then to glam my tv

I remember TV's that when you switched it off there would remain 3 little Green, Red & Blue circles still on the screen that slowly faded away...

I also remember when a 21" TV screen was considered massive..

What about the video recorders, VHS or if you were really silly, Betamax . The 'advanced' models were remote controlled with the remote being a plug-in wired type which couldn't be used if sat too far away from the set and was always kicked around the floor by big footed house members

The early old Top loading VHS players were mental, I remember they could launch a cat into orbit when you pressed eject...

I remember when you rented a video, and what a drag it was waiting for it to rewind (as the previous borrower couldn't be assed), then have to watch all the trailers.
