Hi there.
Ive been given an iphone.I think its the 1st model.It was on o2 but when i put my o2 sim in it it shows the o2 icon but wont work.
Is it blocked and if so can it be resolved?

check if the sim you have got is outdated or blocked temporarily

Thanks for reply mate.
Been told its been IMEI blocked.Anyone know any reliable unlock sites please??

You say iPhone 1 ?? if it is you can jailbreak and change the imei number , don't ask me how as it is highly illegal and would properly be frowned upon in open forum

Should it be a 3g or 3gs you jailbreak and inject the ipad baseband then unlock with ultrasn0w to use on a different carrier , if it hasn't been logged across all networks. This would be worth a try first as it will cost you nowt.

Failling that it will work outside the uk on a network where the imei number hasnt been blacklisted , You could sale it on eBay to a non UK resident , you would make enough to put toward a unblocked model.
