My son mishandled my Laptop and it fell down across the steps in my home.
I am worried whether I can replace the existing parts or I should just throw it off. The Defects are, 1. The Display is gone 2. I cannot switch on the laptop. It seems like dead Will the cost I spend for Repairing will reach the price of a New Laptop? |

Motherboard can be repaired / replaced. You are looking at 180 - 190 quid for parts and repair.. However this is an estimation and not the real figures.

Yes. There are severe damages to the Laptop. I took it to the Service Center and I am very sad to know that my warranty too expired.
The Estimation given to repair my Laptop was £300 which is too costly. So I think I can buy a new One. I looked for several Laptops for this Price range but I can get only Net-books for that Price. After searching many sites, I ended up with this Acer Aspire 5733 Notebook. The cost is around £377.95. Is there any other Laptop at the cheaper Price than this? |
