This may seem like an odd request but the committee at the local working men's club I go to have asked if I can do some research. They are wanting to sell the club's full size snooker table in order to downsize to a modern three-quarter sized table instead. Does anybody know where it could be sold or know any dealers that would buy this sort of thing? By the way, it is a very old table and we believe it was made around the 1880s/1890s, the club had it from new and it has been open since about 1897 lol.

you can sell pretty much anything on ebay buddy. put your reserve on it and stress pickup only

Thanks for the fast reply. I'm not even sure if they considered eBay, they were looking more towards a specialist dealer.

An antique 1890 snooker table?? is it a paticular top make (I know nothing about this though) cause surely it might be quite desirable to some old pro or rich person to stick in their mansion if it somes top notch antique table.. Just an idea, maybe you could get a message to John Parrot, see if he knows anybody who might want to snap it up...

Blakey's right there are some specialist dealers. plus Have you also concidered doing a conversion on the S/table so it can be used a conventional table and a S/table just a thought?
