Hi sorry if this has been posted before or is in the wrong section.

Ive just moved into a new flat and trying to get my tv to work. I cant install an ariel to recieve digital and a set top ariel isnt getting good enough signal.

So i have a Virgin media internet Cable connecton and was wondering if i could buy a virgin media box (or any other box) to connect to my tv? I dont want to subscribe to virgin media or any other service and just want to recieve the basic channels, bbc itv etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if you have tinternet from vermin,, just grab a box from a car booty , you will get card not inserted msg everytime you change channel.
or pay the man £5/month for a cisco HD BOX with loads extra like catch up etc

You won't even get the basic channels with a box from Vermin Media. At most, you will receive around 10 channels (plus some music) unless you subscribe and get a legitimate box.
