I would like to apologise re. imei unblocks.
Dont know anything about these things and thought it was a jailbreak that apple endorse.
After reading a little bit more i understand why threads were closed.

only your network provider can unlock an imei in the uk and if the phones been reported lost, stolen or blocked for non payment. then its pretty much a no-no. i assume you have an iphone judging by your post about jailbreak solutions. unfortunatley you cant unblock an imei via jailbreak programs, but you can unlock carriers on certain basebands via searching ultrasn0w in cydia or a gevey sim.
