Question Shed Light on This please?

I have received information from a supplier in Russia and he stated to one of my relatives that the open box which is used here is totally a different Open-box to what is the real one is

Now I have been told that Open-Box S9 and so on are actually made in Russia. However apparently the real open boxes which are listed on this site: http://www.openbox.ua/ cost around 290 GBP and after Evaluating the specs it shows that the box is far superior then the one which is sold in this country and made in China.

From what I understand and have been told is that there is a copy right law being broken, but apparently the person who originally owns the brand (Open-Box) failed to secure the name in China, so now the Chinese have taken an advantage.

If anyone can shed light on it then it would be much appreciated please

That sounds about right, lots of reports of people getting "Clone" messages on Openboxes. The Chinese manufacturers don't seem to take much notice of patents - just look at the Dreambox clones
