The reset button on thedlink router, i have pressed it earlier on, not now, but is hard reset different to standard reset?

i have read this and will follow and see if it reset the router and test what you advised me earlier as regards ethernet direct from pc to router only

it says:-

If you can still access the web-interface of the router, just click the "reset to factory settings" button.

Otherwise, turn off the router and disconnect the AC power.
Take a Norwegian paper-clip, straighten one end, and insert it into the small hole in the back of the router, to close the "reset" circuit.

Reconnect the AC power,

Yeah I meant the reset button between the internet and power sockets m8. I'd try that again, that should restore it to factory. Then if you can't access it with just a pc connected I'm not sure what to suggest TBH because AFAIK that should allow you in.

OK got it sorted.
What i found that helped was the dir-615 was not resetting and found that inorder to reset it, you have to hold the reset button for 20 seconds and it resets.
Simply log into your poohub 192.168.0.1 scroll to bottom left and click on modem mode, tick the the box and poohub restarts.
Plug the dlink router into the ethernet port closest to the power supply on the hub and now your wireless will show as dlink in your wireless network list and work.
If not simply reboot both and it will work no issues.
Obviously change you log in details passwords
