Toshiba 46 inch TV 46ZF355DB Full HD

Hi all.

Right i have just bought a new tv today, its a toshiba 46" tv, and im moving on from a phillips 42" ambilight

Just wondering if anyone has any calibration tips for this tv, it seems alot brighter than my ambilight and im not sure if its meant to be that bright ( i have tried to research calibration for this tv but not havin much joy)

i have messed about with the brightness settings but if i turn it down, its like it turns the screen brightness down but not the actual picture if u see what i mean?

anywayz any help would be appreciated.

On my Panasonic I found it had a menu option (cant remember name) that detected the room light level and adjusted the TV's contrast automatically, it was rubbish resulting in pretty bad display, disabling this option helped me to then set levels better for me.. I actually found the "Cinema" preset to be perfect..
