Afternoon all,
I'm using a Dreambox 800hd original, nabilo black hole cccam 2.1.4. I recently joined a well known C/S found on google and have been and still getting bad freezing and glitching. I have searched my end and found no problems, signal strength, network etc is all ok. I have emailed this company and asked why am I getting this problem and all they say is there is no problem our end. Am I missing something or are they taking the p*** Worzel |

Check on the troublesome channels!. Depending on what image you use... As am example on Enigma image you will need to find it in the menu and enable it. I don't remember from the top of my head. EDG Nemesis image you can obtain it via the blue button.

I don't know the exact meaning of ECM... but what I do understand is that if the times are higher then a 1 second then it would cause a freeze. And anything under a second would be fine. For example if sky sports was freezing and you checked the timings, say it was 1056 then that it self would most likely be causing a Freeze. If is its say 0.698 or 0.356 then you should have no Freezes. which means the issue would be related down your end. So you need to monitor that on trouble some channels. If the ECM times are higher then its an issue with the server end and not yours. This is something you need to put forward to your provider when you complain about Freezing.

Ok, as soon as I press the blue button for blue panel it shows the ECM time right at the bottom of the page and most of the time its showing 0.146 roughly around that.
When I managed to press the blue button as it froze or glitched it hit 1.237 or similar. So To summerise it looks like they have got me on a server with a few too many. Is there any thing else I can try before I f*** them off out of it? Worzel |

thats your problem then... a high ecm time.
could be your internet ping, more than likely will be the over loaded server. you could try another share from someone else?

I would obtain a test line from a different server and run a test as G77 mentioned above.
In my opinion the issue is with that server, but to be 100% sure u still better of as suggested above. So obtain a test line and you will get the idea on wether it is a server or your ping times. Sent from my HTC Desire HD A9191 |

chaps,
After having a few words with the c/s company about my Ecm times they have obviously done something they're end because it has been a lot better but today it has gone haywire again. Big time freezing and Glitching and basically getting stuck on every channel, when this happens I immediately check my ECM times and they are fine, 0.234 around that every time so I am putting this down to something else. I use Devolo plugs in my sockets and I'm on a high broadband, would downloading have an effect on the service? is there a later version of CCCam I could try, I'm on 2.1.4. Should I try a different image from blackhole? Good day, Worzel |
