Sorry mate dont know anyone in that area. A decent garage though would not just replace **** and hope it fixes it. A decent garage would test suspect components and replace them only if they were faulty. The likelyhood that ALL of those components were faulty is extremely slim.
Phone some garages and tell them your story. Tell them that you would like them to have a go at fixing it but that you will not pay for any un-necessary parts and set a linit of one hour to diagnose. If they phone and say they need more time give them anouther hour and so on until you get the impression they havent got a clue what they are talking about or you have run out of money (whichever comes first). Also ask for updates as the job goes along and ask for (where possible) printouts of fault codes stored and screen grabs of scope patterns. Explain that you are not being awkward but that you have been ripped off and you are just being careful. A decent garage will have nothing to hide and will let you into their workshop to show you what equipment they have and what they can do. Do not let anyone take on the job unless they have an oscilloscope and know how to use it!! A decent garage will understand your concerns and will most probably be dealing with people like you all day long. They will also do their best for you becaus they know that if they do a good job at a good price then they will win all your future business. Hope that helps.

Oh and I would also recommend a fuel pressure check. Might also be worth replacing the fuel filter as a matter of course. Often they do not get changed on the service when they are due. It could just be a blocked fuel filter.
