i have a kv and rest assured i wont be buying a HD box until i see a considerable and sustained time of non-stop service free from all glitchs and chanell dropouts, if they cant provide that then i move on simples.

All well and said. However what is the guaranteed even if they do improve the service, the question u would need ask is how long before it would fail again.

Way I see it is that improve the service for 1 yr and then start the freezing and missing channels.

After all this is a money making business and releasing a HD box is sounding like they want to start milking it again.

I totally agree with Unadkat and at £260 a throw. I guess, I'm going to hang fire too.

I suppose the value for money depends on the spec of the receiver and how well and how long the server works - if it's a twin-tuner PVR and the server works well for 5 Years, then it's a bargain

Again it's a personal choice and personal risk. It would be nice to have a all singing all dancing..and all playing box and if the spec is right. I guess there's some miles in what Lincsat has said. but there's that SV HD Combi legacy and it's very fresh in the minds of those who, unfortunately bought the box for cable. and we all know that it ended in tears.
