Default DECT phones - two different models, same base?

This question is about cordless DECT phones - couldn't find a better section to put it in.

I have a BT Freestyle 350 and will shortly have a Freestyle 750 as well. Can the 350 be registered to the 750 base unit? Reason is, I have only one convenient phone point, but would like a phone at the other end of the house as well as on the main base unit. So the 350 base would be plugged into the mains only, purely for charging, not into a phone point.

It's best to get two units of the same - I'm really not sure of the different in specs between the 750 to the 350.

It might be worth having a look here at various BT cordless phone options, as they're probably friendlier than BT.

Of course your 350 handset can be de-registered from the 350 base unit then registered to the 750 base unit, then I guess you'll simply be using your old 350 base unit as a charging station.. Your new 750 will almost certainly come with instructions how to register additional handset to it..

In the past Ive not just registered different models of handsets to a base unit, , but different makes of dect handsets too, thats the great thing about how they can all work together..
