Default c4eva strikes again.... AP2.5 defeated!

Here is a quote from Team-Xecuter after having a meeting with c4eva about the recent issues relating to the silent update being sent out by M$ to update the dae.bin rendering backups (and many retail discs) unplayable:
Quote:
We just had a development meeting with C4E and he dropped a bombshell. Thanks to the recent silent DAE update he has been able to discover how to hit DAE/AP25 with the “Silver Bullet” and has developed iXtreme LT 3.0 which defeats DAE/AP2.5 reliance COMPLETELY.

A new FW and a new version of XBC will be released to get you up and running again in no time.

We can also confirm that C4E has finished the Hitachi LT 2.0 fw (not affected by DAE/AP25) and will be releasing that as soon as its gone through final testing.

More details from c4evaspeaks.com:

Although it’s early stages, c4eva has successfully completed several tests which validate this new method and classified his solution as the “silver bullet” for AP2.5. Rather than using captured challenge results each time the dae.bin changes, the new method builds a complete set of profile data for each disc and works for all AP2.5 challenges, regardless of how the dae.bin is changed. As a result, the format of backup ISOs will be changing as the AP25 replay sector will no longer be included and the profile data will instead take its place. Though c4eva noted that it will take some development time as it’s not a quick fix, both he and the team will now be putting their full efforts behind bringing this solution to life in the form of new versions of iXtreme LT+, Xbox Backup Creator, and abgx360.
There is a temporary work-around for the issue here (credits to Ubergeek for posting this and Dattran for discovering it) but if you use XBOX Live, I would strongly recommend that you do not try this.

They didn't beat him at all, they used c4eva's code which is why xk3y works like it does .

I know you post the odd thing on tx forums but in reality the fix for the x360key was known and produced before anything said by C4

Thats the fact...

I'm not a fan of either, I don't care as I buy my games..

What you will find is a lot of abuse from tx as to how crap the emulators are and how they can be detected due to timings.

Yet no proof has been produced. What is more likely the case because C4 has now close ties to TX, they want to keep the sales of their products and revamp of the same stuff coming. It stands to reason.

The emulators dont seem bad, so far not banned, they also have ap25 failure protection as well. Produce the proof...Dont listen to the same biased stuff..Its to easy to say ixtreme firmware is easily detected online due to timings of the firmeare...(notice I didnt produce evidence of this)

But I will say this the xbox scene would not be where it is without C4 team... But times are moving on....

Thats it m8, C4eve is the only man in the 360 FW world that I would trust!!

hitachi drives do not have ap2.5, so if your ap2.5 games are running on CFW you should be online playing your backup unlike liteon, sammys and benQ users at the moment!!
