Default To update or NOT to update...

Not updated as yet even though most of the sports & movie channels are pants, glitching all over the place.

SS1 is rubbish won't be able to watch the footie tonight.

However, from what I've heard the new update isn't much better. What should I do?

The update was to fix a specific problem that some people had. If you dont have that specific problem then the update will do absolutely nothing for you so you may as well ignore it. The update is NOT to fix CS based glitching problems, nor should any update be necessary to fix that problem, assuming it can be fixed.

At this point i very much doubt it, think it has missed the boat, it should either go the same way as the other cable box, which i hear is running great at this point and folks are very happy, or they should just give up the ghost.

I have tried the s/w update three times and it does not go beyond about 10%. Is anybody experiencing the same issue?

I finally 'bit the bullet' and updated a couple of days ago. To be honest I cannot see any difference at all. Everything hit and miss., bit of glitching missed channels etc... same as usual. No better no worse.
