Default Advice on which equipment to buy

Hello all,

For the past number of years I have been a cable man and have some experience with the dbox but I moved house out of cable area and ended up with sky hd.

Anyway, I got an offer for sky multi room the other day, went on to do a bit of reading ended up back here and I now want to get my hands on a few dream boxes or equivalents but I don't know exactly what I am looking for.

Basically i have run single satellite feeds to 3 extra rooms in the house and I want to share my card, I know that this part of it isn't talked about here but I just need to know what I have to buy. I need the main box to have hd, hdmi and be able to act as server(this is to replace my sky hd box), I need one of the other client boxes to have hdmi and maybe hd, the other 2 can be scart.

Are clone boxes that much worse? I have been reading up in them, some won't touch them and others say there is no difference. I don't know exactly where to buy these but looking on eBay there seems to be dm800se boxes for 199, ideally I would like to spend as little as possible. I like the idea of being able to record to an external drive.

What would be the cheapest way for me to do this?

Many thanks

Can anyone suggest which boxes to buy and where is best to buy them from?

Main box can be a dm800 HD You can pick them up for about. £110ish delivered from china. Yes they are clones but work as well as the real macoy for a third of the price.

For the clients, you can get the openbox s10. They are HD, and only cost about £60 each. They work fine as clients and have PVR functions too, so you can record to a hard disk. EPG though is very limited and you only get "now and next"...

For the full set-up your looking at around...
110 + 60*3 = £290
