I had this prob with a mates a while back I thought he was same as me `Vermin ` network but it turned out he was NTL,so do a factory reset then select a different `network`(think there are 4 to choose from the drop down) before pressing the green button on the remote to see if the net ID`s come up.

afaik, VirginMedia does not give kryptview boxes to subscription customers so I doubt that it is actually a subbed box.
Your best bet is still to find the proper NetId from a real VM subbed box. One of the pre-requisites of using a kv box is to know (or have a pretty good idea) of your NetId region as its this setting that tells the box on which frequency map to look for channels. Get the wrong one and he box will look in the wrong place. If you know you've got the proper area and your still not finding anything then thats an indication that you have a problem, either with the cable feed or the box itself. Do you know the cable feed is still active ? If you dont subscribe to any vm services then they do tend to disconnect the cable. Last edited by TheCoder; 26-11-11 at 05:14 PM. |
