Dreambox DM500 Network Setting HELP Urgently

The ip adress is incorrect

Your ip should be along the lines of 192.168.0.10 etc

Your router ip is .0.1

So which means your ip will be different.

Just to add to the above which I forgot to mention is that your IP should never be the same as your Router IP address. It is the main reason why your channels don't work.

Which is why you need to disable DHCP from the box and set a static IP.

I have set the ip address to 192.168.0.10 but it still does not allow the premium channels to work and only the free channels work.

Although it works fine in my house, but it does not work in my mates house. my mates gateway is also same as mine: 192.168.0.1.

please can someone help I need to sort this out urgently.

Well am out of ideas now & and the only thing I suggest is that you use a different router.

i presume you have tried rebooting router then turning the box on.
