I have a Dreambox DM500 which the premium channels work through internet connection and without the internet the channels won't work!
When I use it at home and connect the ethernet cable to the box, all of the channels work fine e.g. premium channels Sky Sports etc. However when I use it in other peoples homes and connect their internet to the box via ethernet cable, the premium channels e.g. sky sports won't work and only the free channels work. Please somebody help me as its urgent. thanks |

Go to expert setting, then comunacashion settings, try with dhcp if this dos not work you have to asine static ip that needs to match network setup.. If your using sky Internet get a new provider if you want to cs as they block there keys!!

I have performed expert setting, communication settings and tried with DHCP and it still did not work although it works at my house well with DHCP but not in other houses.
How do you asine static IP that need to match network setup?

in my dreambox DM500 s Communication Settings the following options are stated:
IP: (Dreambox IP goes here) NetMask: NameServer: Gateway: (Router IP) So which one of the above I need to change in order to solve the problem! |

Do I need to enter the IP address as my gateways or just enter it randomly?
Which one of the following do I manually enter for LAN IP from below: IP: (Dreambox IP goes here) NetMask: NameServer: Gateway: (Router IP) |

The three things that are listed in Network settings are:
IP: 192.168.0.1 Netmask: 255.255.255.0 Gateway: 192.168.0.1 There is also listed Nameserver which is: NameServer: 192.168.0.1 all this works in my home, but when I use it in other peoples home e.g. relatives the premium channels won't work when I use their internet connection.
