You cannot tell the firmware version on a Lite-On unless you do a full MRA dump. The best way is to get an Xecuter Probe 3, use PhatKey to extract your drive key (dummy.bin), flash the drive back to stock firmware (dash dependant), update your dashboard and then flash LT+ 2.0.

No offence dude but WOW...!! I dont speak that language you just wrote....you must know your Tech stuff..!!

But I did get the message that its not possible to know the version without buying this probe 3 and then using a couple of other things...!! in short theres no easy way to do this for a newbie..!!

The reason I mentioned that I can play a backup of COD black OPS is becuz I read on abgx that its a wave 6 game, so I was wondering if someone knew what version of Ixtreme would be compatible up to wave 6 atleast. I donno if this logic makes sense but, I thought it might be worth checking out with you guys.

Thanks for the reply though..!!

As themong said, your drive likely has LT 1.1 on because Black Ops did't boot on anything prior to that (except iXtreme 1.6 which would have required the activate ISO disc).

The Probe 3 won't tell you the firmware version, it will just retrieve your drive key (dummy.bin) so that you can write a new firmware to your drive.

U do not need any probe, if you have ixtream then u can just dump the drive with jungle flasher using the ixream button, if you have LT or ofw firmware you need a probe.. Sorry the man dos not no that much as the mra dump is old and takes skill, the prob is easy and simple, it replaces the mra hack.... PM me if you need any help or advice

I see your point P3T3, but I highly suspect that he has LT 1.1 on the drive seeing as though Black Ops (AP2.5) was released around that time and LT was the first custom firmware to conform to that standard.
