What i want to know is i saw a video on utube showing u how to do it & its fine but they say when u connect u laptop to the tv the tv & laptop should be switched off only turn tv & laptop on when you have connected all the leads . do have to do this all the time ?connected
ps i have my leads connected to the tv all the time so can i just connect the laptop while the tv is on ? or will i damage the laptop ?. Last edited by tomboy1; 29-11-11 at 10:53 PM. Reason: to add more information |

Hi
HDMI would have been a better option as that carries both sound and vision but in answer to your question, no you can leave it connected or disconnected as you like ... makes no difference and just select TV or PC from your TV, to be ultra safe you could connect the leads before you power up your laptop as it takes but seconds to do.
