Hi

just got a kryptview and am having problems with the installation.

I have installed the firmware Kryptview_A780_03012011 and
followed all of the instructions pertaining to the setup.

But I am unble to receive any channels other than the FTA and
get a scrambled or no video error.

I am now trying to do an online update but it just keeps searching for
the update while the screen intermittantly changes colour.

I believe i am able to get a connection to the internet via my router as I
was able to access the motoring and weather updates via extra features menu.

I am at a loss does anyone have any ideas that may get me going in
the right direction.

Just update with Kryptview_A780_24042011
and will see if that does anything.

After updating to the Kryptview_A780_24042011
firmware I am now able to view the other channels.

So, all is ok so far.

I understand that there is another update available
is it available as a separate download or can it only
be done online?

The update can only be done online mate via the sw/update on the box

Before you do this..

Restore factory settings..

then do a S/W update.

all should be good scan for channels under the right NETID and then away you go.

Hi m8

just tried the online update and it starts to download
and then the screen goes funny (flashing different colours)
and everything blurred out also on the machines display
there was a small n in the middle the first time I tried this
with the new update it switched the machine off completely.

I havn't tried it by restoring factory settings first so will
give this a bash. Thought this was to be done after the
update.

That worked a treat for the update - downloaded without
incident. Thankyou, just doing a search now but I think all
should be hunky dory now.
