Hello Great Television Forum Helpers,
The Laptop Forum Helpers have not been able to help. Can you help? I have a FUJITSU SIEMENS AMILO Li 1718 laptop and a TECHNIKA Television. I have listed below what is available to me on the Technika television. Is it possible for me to get pictures and sound on my television from my laptop? Many thanks in anticipation of your very kind assistance. =============== S-VHS Input SCART 2 Video Input SCART 1 Audio Inputs Component Audio Inputs Audio Line Outs Component Video Inputs (YpBpr) Headphone RF For Service Use Only PC Audio Input Power Cable CI Slot HDMI Input |

Basically if you have an HDMI output on your laptop and an HDMI input on your tv, you connect with an HDMI lead from laptop to TV and use a lead to connect from the sound out socket to the sound in socket on the TV. You also have to select the correct setting on your TV for the HDMI output. My Acer laptop connects this way, but I have read that the HDMI lead transmits sound as well as video, but I have a separate lead for sound. Hope this helps.
